Sticking to a particular genre has never been my forte. I read and enjoy all sorts of literature; thus I derive great pleasure out of writing in all sorts of genres. If you’ve ready a mystery by me, I can’t guarantee that the next book I write will also be a mystery. Maybe even the next book in a series will break into a different genre. Bad marketing, but great fun.

Most of my short films are amateur at best. Don’t always expect the highest production quality in them. They are meant for me to learn a particular skill and test it by making it happen. Look at my shorts, and then find my YouTube commentary on them, as I dive into what I was trying to learn, what the results were, and anything else I feel like sharing about it. I didn’t go to film school, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been putting myself though my own equivalent curriculum to learn the art of filmmaking on my own terms. So yeah, come learn with me and have a great time doing so.

You know what else is kind of like a short film? Music videos. Need help with that? I’d love to work with you on producing your next music video, whether you’re professional or amateur, I don’t care, its all fun for us.

I hope to make several of these to share with you. But I’m more than happy to help you with yours also. I enjoy the process of filmmaking, and if I’m in the middle of projects, I’d love to work with you on your project too. This helps me meet talented people, and learn new and better ways of doing the things I want to do, and possibly discover  great and talented people to bring in on my own jobs. By the way, Hollywood, I’d be more than happy to direct any film you want to bring to me, just keep in mind that it will need to follow my moral compass and be family friendly entertainment.

Photography takes a microsecond still image and lets us tell a whole story with a perspective that our normal perception can’t possibly notice. One of the things that I wanted to do when building out our studio, was to make it a safe and fun location for all sorts of photogenic opportunities. Are your parents or grandparents getting up there in age? Do you wish younger generations could know them and their tales, the same way you do? We would love to document their story for you, either in the comfort of their own home, or in our studio. How can any serious storyteller avoid Youtube in this day and age. Youtube is the ultimate in sharing free audio and visual content with the world. One of the things that I and likely most independent filmmakers face, are the costs of making visual art. Yes, the price has been going down over the last several years, making it much easier for us to make quality video. However, sometimes our vision still exceeds our budgets. I wanted to make a studio where the storyteller’s imagination is the only limit to their production value. For this reason, I’ve designed my studio to have the standard cycloramas, green/blue screen walls, but in addition I’ve designed it to have a permanent LED wall for backdrops that would be expensive and or impossible to create in our workshop.

Leveraging technology in this way is one step closer to making my content the way I want to make it. But I can’t keep this studio busy full time with my own work, which is why I’m happy to help you make your content in my studio, using all the tools I have at my disposal.

Leaning into technology, rather than shying away from it is one way we hope to make more affordable videos and art. We don’t need the AI to make it for us, but we welcome its help in simplifying and speeding up the process. We create our own art, AI is not our replacement, it is another tool to make our jobs better.
